The latest in our quest for low mileage Honda Elements. I feel like I only need to say three things.....All wheel drive, manual five speed transmission and rear sunroof. Everything else is Honda Element. This one came to us from sunny, dry California. It is a one owner, well cared for. The CARFAX shows good maintenance history. It shows that it was in an accident in 2008, I believe the front left fender was replaced, so it was inspected for any lasting damage, none found. Speaking of the inspection, it just went through bumper to bumper. It needed a fresh oil change, the clutch pedal was squeaking and the mechanics replaced the air conditioning compressor...a bearing was starting to make noise, so it was fixed. They adjusted the rear hatch, and fixed a few gaskets. Other than that, it's ready to hit the road. I drove the car from SoCal, it is actually a good way to test out the cars I sell.....no trouble en route. And dare I say, the five speeds in these Elements make them fun to drive. First gear is low enough that this thing would actually make a halfway decent off roader for someone who likes to camp off the beaten path. What else? It has an almost new set of matching Bridgestones, brakes are at 80%, a new battery, it's ready to hit the road for some summer adventures. The interior is in great shape, seats are free of rips and tears, it has two keys and an owner's manual that looks like it went through a wash and dry cycle. It has the rear pop-up moonroof for those wanting to camp under the stars. The spare is unused, the jack and wrenches are there...about the worst thing I can say is that it has its share of parking lot dings and minor scratches. Pretty tough to avoid in these Elements. But if you've been looking for a low mileage quality Element, give us a call, I doubt it'll be here long. These things are getting more difficult to find with low miles, believe me, I'm always searching for them--they tend to make great cars for my customers, and that's exactly what I want.
